Phenylmethyl silicone fluid, also known as phenylmethyl silicone oil, is a phenyl-modified silicone fluid for industrial applications requiring heat resistance, low-temperature fluidity, electrical insulation, lubricity, or specified vacuum performance. Its siloxane structure contains phenyl and methyl groups, giving selected grades distinct viscosity, refractive-index, and thermal-performance profiles.
Depending on the selected model, it can be used in electrical-insulation systems, high-temperature lubricants and greases, damping applications, low-temperature systems, and UHV diffusion pumps. The series includes general industrial grades, high-phenyl and medium/low-phenyl grades, and UHV diffusion-pump fluids with different viscosity, freezing-point, flash-point, and vacuum-performance specifications.

Selected phenylmethyl silicone fluid grades provide specified high flash points and low freezing points for applications involving elevated or low operating temperatures. Models 9-201 and 9-202 are described for working environments up to 350 °C, subject to validation under actual operating conditions.
Model 9-200 is designed for applications requiring thermal stability and low-temperature fluidity, while Model 9-250 provides a low-viscosity option with a freezing point of no more than −45 °C.
