Silicone defoaming agent is a silicone-based foam-control additive designed to reduce unwanted foam during industrial production and processing. Depending on the application, it can be supplied as a 100% active silicone compound, a self-emulsifying concentrate, or a silicone emulsion for compatible oil-based, solvent-free, and water-based systems.
It helps break down surface foam and suppress further foam formation, supporting more stable processing and a smoother finished appearance in compatible formulations. Selected grades can also help control entrained air and microbubbles in higher-viscosity systems.
This silicone defoaming agent series is used in coatings, inks, adhesives, resin systems, paper manufacturing, textile dyeing and finishing, fermentation, wastewater treatment, oilfield processes, and other industrial foam-control applications. The appropriate grade should be selected according to the formulation medium, process conditions, and required defoaming performance.
